Michael Buckingham Gray is a poet, writer and creative writing tutor. His poetry and prose have appeared in anthologies, journals, magazines and newspapers.

​His poems were recently featured in Catchment – Poetry of Place, The Ecological Citizen and Frogpond, while his prose was recently featured in Blink-Ink and Friday Flash Fiction.  

When he is not writing, Michael mentors creative writing students, runs workshops and presents guest lectures for the University of Notre Dame Australia, Curtin Writers Club, Intuition Educational Support and elsewhere.

Budding poets and writers who have worked with Michael have gone on to receive awards from Little Stories, Big Ideas and the Tim Winton Award for Young Writers.
